Small imports and US customs

If you are importing a shipment to the US that is valued at less than $2,500 let us know. We are offering our new clients a special offer for informal entries of just $45 per entry.

An informal entry is used to document and clear through US customs import shipments valued at less than $2,500. If you are moving to the US from another country, most of your belongings will qualify for an informal entry. This also applies to commercial samples if the invoice value is less than $2,500 and any commercial shipment of invoice value less than $2,500.

Anytime an item is brought into the US from another country the shipment must be cleared through US customs. This applies to most import shipments with very few exceptions.
